Hi everyone,

I’ve recently started learning about digital forensics and Error Level Analysis (ELA) to help debunk viral hoaxes. I find it fascinating how different compression levels can reveal where an image has been altered by saving it multiple times.

However, I’m still a beginner and some of the results are hard for me to interpret without professional software. I’m looking for a tool that can provide a clear heatmap of modified areas in a JPEG file.

What is your favorite image edit detector for this kind of work?
